The layout was completely reconfigured to improve flow, maximise storage and strengthen the connection between the bedroom and ensuite. Extensive custom joinery features throughout the bedroom, including floor-to-ceiling wardrobes finished in a warm timber-look veneer with contrasting black hardware for a clean yet inviting aesthetic.
A standout feature of the design is the concealed ensuite entry, seamlessly integrated within the joinery to create a hidden “secret” doorway that enhances the minimalist feel of the space.
Custom elements including a vertical-panelled bedhead, timber batten divider, bespoke study nook and built-in window seating add both functionality and character, while new carpet throughout softens the overall palette and creates a relaxed, retreat-like atmosphere.
The ensuite was fully rebuilt using a bold, moody palette centred around texture and contrast. Large-format stone-look tiles, timber-look joinery, brushed brass tapware and a custom concrete vanity combine to create a sophisticated and luxurious finish.
A curved green-tiled shower wall creates a dramatic architectural focal point, complemented by fluted glass screening, integrated shelving and a freestanding matte black bath that elevates the sense of luxury throughout the space.
From the custom joinery through to the carefully considered material transitions and finishes, every detail of the project was crafted to create a master suite that balances warmth, functionality and contemporary design.
